Samantha Markle pleads with Meghan to visit dying father Thomas despite 'confirming' Celebrity Big Brother appearance

Samantha Markle has pleaded with sister Meghan to visit their dying father Thomas.
The Multiple Sclerosis sufferer, who has already penned a book about her half sister, revealed her fears for dad's health.
The 53-year-old said she and Thomas had offered Meghan an olive branch and now the ball is in her court to heal the family rift.
This came as Samantha appeared to confirm she will be on Celebrity Big Brother to cash in on her limited fame.
She claimed it was "not disparaging or harmful' to enter the CBB house and speak about her half sister.
She has been heavily rumoured to appear on the Channel 5 show and has made no secret of her desire to be just as famous as the Duchess of Sussex.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Samantha said:
"I’ve worked in media most of my life why would I not? Why would I stop living because we have a family issue going on?"
On Meghan's possible reaction to her CBB stint, she said:
"I think she’s intelligent enough to be able to separate the two. Whether you’re a celebrity or a royal you have a high profile which is subjected to scrutiny from the media."
"I don't see how we are any different. No one has a copyright on our life experiences. I think the public forgets that we are individuals with our own life experiences. No disrespect but it’s not just Meg. If we can share that with the public that's great. It's not disparaging or harmful.
Angrily confronting the host's over claims she was 'cashing in', Samantha said: "For someone to say you should turn down a pay check - go tell your boss you don’t want a pay check for interviewing me as thats cashing in."
